Facebook Application
We now have a Facebook Application, which allows you to link direct from Facebook into your Yummy Mummys home page.
You can link your Facebook page with Yummy Mummys by going to Profile, Preferences and clicking on the option to link. This will allow you to invite your friends to Yummy Mummys from within the forum itself and also to link back to YMs from our Facebook application. To add the application, go to the following link - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yummy-Mummy-Forum/113795618652348?ref=ts then scroll down to Favourite Pages and you can click on the new Application Page from there.
I'm still playing with the application at the moment, trying to work out what it does, but it's possible it may replace the old Facebook page if it can do everything that does and more

Re: Facebook Application
Thanks Amira - you're right, the link wasn't working.
Have put the link to our current FB page instead. From there you can link to the page for the Application.
I'm finding it a bit confusing as both the application and our original page seem to be called pages on FB - am hoping all will become clearer!!
Do give feedback about how you find it if you try it out

Re: Facebook Application
Found it lol, links into the portal? Seems pretty good from Facebook, I tend to use tabs and have one open for YM, even if I'm not looking at the site and doing something else it just refreshes when I open up the notebook

Re: Facebook Application
Yes links to the portal as that's our home page - I'd set it up that way so that new unregistered users go to the portal first where they can see a bit more than they can on this page.
